March for Women's Lives | NY Says No to Bush | Three Ring Circus | Liberated | The Coronation
August
31, 2004 - New York Liberated from Republicans
During a hot New York summer afternoon and evening thousands of anti-Bush and anti-Republican protesters took to the streets. The number of actions were hard to even count and the following are photos from only a small portion of the actions and protests (The Shut-up-a-thon at the Fox News building, a direct action at Herald Square, and a war resisters league mass arrest, among others.)
For a few hours at least, excluding Madison Square Garden, New York was liberated from Republicans.

Arresting America 1
(The police were very rough when they put her in hand-cuffs. They were also too tight and they had to loosen them later on.)
