 September 29, 2004 - San Francisco Hotel Workers Go On Strike
Photos from the first day of a strike called by workers from UNITE HERE, Local 2 after a breakdown in contract talks. They have been without a contract since August 14th.
Among many issues, the workers are striking to maintain healthcare for themselves and for their family, stop excessive workloads, and make sure their pensions remain safe.
