Fright Walk, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Santa Cruz, California.

This is was taken in almost complete darkness while walking through one of cheesiest rundown attractions at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It’s grimy dark and my biggest fear was getting dust in my eyes. In fact it’s hard to tell if the cobwebs are props or actual cobwebs. I took this photo pretty much blind as various dimly lit mechanical skulls and other “scary” stuff appeared to half-heartedly pop out of the walls. The photo itself turned out much more unnerving than the actual fright walk. Perhaps ghosts really were walking with me after all.
